The TV anime 『Futsutsuka na Akujo de wa Gozaimasu ga ~Hinamiya Chōso Torikae Den~』 (The Imperfect Villainess and the Tale of the Hinamiya Palace Body Swap) has officially revealed a new visual, along with the announcement that the first episode will air on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at 23:45 on the TV Tokyo network.
A Highly Acclaimed Source Work
This title is adapted from a novel by Nakamura Soki, with art by Yukiya, published under the Ichijinsha Novels imprint, and a manga adaptation by Ohitsuji Ei serialized in Monthly Comic ZERO-SUM.
The story has won the light novel category at the Seymore Minna ga Erabu 2023 Digital Comic Awards and ranked No. 1 in light novels for female readers in BookLive’s 2023 annual rankings. The manga adaptation was also nominated for the Magademy Awards 2023 in both Best Work and Best Female Lead categories (the character Juu Fuuya), and was selected in the “Can’t Take Your Eyes Off This Manga” category at the Rakuten Kobo eBook Awards 2024.
Full Cast Visual Unveiled
This new key visual was drawn by Kikuji Ai, the anime’s character designer, and brings together all the main cast in a single, complete composition. It features both central characters, Hoshiru and Fuuya, as well as supporting leads Heyahami, Sheinovie, Hurihuri, Jingye, Fangchun, and Geochuya— all integral figures driving the story forward. The visual’s atmosphere conveys the intricate relationships and the dramatic tension viewers can look forward to.
