The TV anime FX Senshi Kurumi-chan has been officially confirmed to premiere in October 2026. Alongside the announcement, a new key visual was unveiled and three additional cast members were revealed: Seto Asami, Ito Ayasa, and Okasaki Miho.
Story
Based on the manga currently serialised in Comic Flapper, the series follows Fukuga Kurumi, a university student who dives into the world of FX (foreign exchange margin trading) with one goal in mind: to recover the 20 million yen her late mother lost in the markets. The story plunges her — and the audience — into a world where fortunes can flip overnight, where unrealised losses, forced liquidations, and racing heartbeats are all part of the game.
Key Visual
The newly released key visual features all four main characters: Kurumi, her investment friend Kogane Mochiko, the eager junior who looks up to Kurumi, Yamashi Mebuki, and investment blogger Takane Yasuko (known online as “Afi-chan”) — all surrounded by world currencies, laptops, and smartphones.

Cast Comments
Seto Asami (Kogane Mochiko)
When I first read the manga, I was struck by the combination of cute characters and FX trading — I assumed the content would be fairly mild because of that contrast. But it turned out to be far more thrilling and dopamine-fuelled than I expected. It’s bold! Mochiko is quite a tricky character, but I find myself loving her for her own personal rules and the way she chooses to acknowledge others. Please look forward to a glimpse into their lives!
Ito Ayasa (Yamashi Mebuki)
I started reading the source material with almost zero knowledge of FX. But before I knew it, I was completely drawn into this world, just like Kurumi and the others. Even without fully understanding it, you understand it — FX is a truly extraordinary world. Winning, losing, euphoria, despair — it’s all on you. FX Senshi Kurumi-chan teaches something important through the battles of these very cute girls. Please watch over their courageous journey!
Okasaki Miho (Takane Yasuko)
I was hooked on the fun — and the terror — of the source material from the moment I auditioned, so I’m thrilled to be part of the anime alongside Yasuko. She’s relatively the “voice of reason” of the group, but she still has plenty of scenes where she ends up screaming after an internal struggle, and those were so much fun to record. The series is packed with technical jargon, so you might find yourself warming up to FX just by watching — but remember, investing is at your own risk!
Social Media Campaign
