New information has been revealed for the second season of the anime 『骸骨騎士様、只今異世界へお出掛け中II』 (Gaikotsu Kishi-sama, Tadaima Isekai e Odekake-chuu II), including its broadcast schedule, preview images from Episode 1, and a live special program featuring the main voice cast.

About the Work

Gaikotsu Kishi-sama is an isekai fantasy novel series from Overlap Novels, written by Ennki Hakari and illustrated by KeG. The story follows Arc, a man who falls asleep while playing an MMORPG and wakes up to find himself transformed into his in-game character: a skeletal knight in armor, with nothing but bones underneath. He tries to live quietly in the new world to avoid being mistaken for a monster, but his kind nature prevents him from ignoring injustice, leading to an exciting story of fighting evil. The series has surpassed 3.5 million copies in circulation across print and digital editions. The first anime season premiered on April 7, 2022.

Episode 1 Preview Images and Broadcast Schedule

The Episode 1 preview images show Arc and his companions, as well as armor, a mysterious creature, and a scene in which Ariane appears embarrassed.

Episode 1 will receive the earliest broadcast and streaming on AT-X, dAnime Store, and ABEMA on Saturday, July 4, 2026 at 8:30 p.m. Starting with Episode 2, episodes will stream on dAnime Store and ABEMA every Monday at 24:00 beginning July 13, with other platforms following afterward.

• AT-X: Starting July 6, 2026, every Monday at 10:00 p.m. (repeats every Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. / every Friday at 4:00 p.m.)
• TOKYO MX: Starting July 9, 2026, every Thursday at 24:00.
• BS11: Starting July 9, 2026, every Thursday at 24:00.

The first season is also currently rebroadcasting on TOKYO MX every Thursday at 24:00 and is available on streaming platforms, allowing viewers to prepare before Season 2 begins.

Live Special Before Episode 1

Before Episode 1 airs, ABEMA will stream the live special 「オーバーラップ文庫オールスター大集結 SP 2026 第2弾」, a regular Overlap program that updates viewers on various media-mix projects. This edition will put a special focus on Gaikotsu Kishi-sama II. The program will air on Saturday, July 4, 2026 on ABEMA, with the exact time to be announced later. After the program ends, viewers will be able to watch Episode 1 immediately afterward.
