The manga 「月華国奇医伝」(Gekka Koku Kii Den) by Himuka Toru (ひむか透留), currently serialized in KADOKAWA’s ASUKA magazine, has been officially announced for a TV anime adaptation. The announcement is accompanied by the reveal of the voice cast, production staff, and the first teaser PV.
Story Overview
「月華国奇医伝」is a royal court fantasy set in the Kingdom of Gekka (月華国), an era in which herbal medicine is the primary method of treating illness and injury. The story follows Koyo (胡葉), a young woman with exceptional medical expertise — particularly in surgery and suturing — and Keun (景雲), the first crown prince. Together they must confront a web of complex conspiracies, mysterious beliefs, and deeply entrenched court customs.

Teaser PV and Special Campaign
