The TV anime Gekkakoku Kii Den (月華国奇医伝), based on the manga by Himuka Toru, has released its first teaser visual. The official website has also opened simultaneously with the visual reveal.
Story
Set in the kingdom of Gekkakoku — a land where established medical treatments have yet to exist and people still rely on prayer and herbal remedies to heal the sick — the story follows Koya, a young woman with exceptional medical skills including suturing surgery. When Haku Keiun, the First Crown Prince, becomes captivated by her abilities and brings her to the royal capital, the two begin to reshape a kingdom rife with conspiracy and intrigue. The original manga runs in ASUKA magazine published by KADOKAWA, with Volume 1 released on August 24, 2018.
