The royal-court fantasy manga 「月華国奇医伝」(Gekkakoku Kii-den), created by Himuka Toru and currently serialized in ASUKA magazine, has been officially announced for a TV anime adaptation. Alongside the announcement, a teaser visual and first teaser PV have been released for fans.
Story Synopsis
The story is set in an era within the fictional realm of “Gekkakoku” (月華国), where medicine and healing still rely on herbs and surgery. Koya (胡葉), a young herbalist girl with deep knowledge of medicinal plants and surgical techniques, crosses paths with Keun (景雲), the first crown prince of Gekkakoku — leading them both into a comedic and turbulent adventure in the world of royal court medicine.
