The TV anime 攻殻機動隊 THE GHOST IN THE SHELL has released the Episode Visual for its second episode, titled “SUPER SPARTAN ii + JUNK JUNGLE i”, set to air and stream on July 14.
An Alternative-Design Poster Series
The Episode Visual project produces alternative-design posters that extract the unique concept and theme of each individual episode. For Episode 2, the design was handled by Kano Kameda of maxilla. Scene cuts from the episode were also released alongside the visual.
About the Series
The TV anime is the latest entry in the Ghost in the Shell franchise, based on the original manga by Shirow Masamune. The story follows Public Security Section 9, led by Motoko Kusanagi, as they confront cybercrime. During the investigation of a particular case, the existence of an unidentified hacker known as the “Puppet Master” surfaces as a key lead.
