Fans of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex can finally upgrade their wardrobe! Graphic fashion brand graniph (グラニフ) has announced its first-ever collaboration with this iconic anime TV series, unveiling a special collection of 21 items spanning apparel and fashion goods. Pre-orders are open through the official graniph online store until May 18, 2026 at 23:59, with in-store availability beginning May 19, 2026.

A Franchise with Over Three Decades of History

Ghost in the Shell (攻殻機動隊) originated as an SF manga by Shirow Masamune, first published in Young Magazine’s special “Pirate Edition” in 1989, before expanding into a massive franchise embraced both in Japan and internationally. Adaptations include the 1995 theatrical anime film, the TV anime Stand Alone Complex (26 episodes, 2002), the four-part OVA series ARISE (2013), and the 2017 Hollywood live-action film starring Scarlett Johansson.

A new TV anime, Ghost in the Shell: THE GHOST IN THE SHELL, is also scheduled to premiere on July 7, 2026, with renowned writer Ando Jo handling Series Composition and scripts, and Science SARU studio responsible for the animation.
