A new piece of official merchandise has been announced for fans of the beloved anime series Gintama (銀魂): the “Gintama Acrylic Message Display Vol.2”, a set of five acrylic stands featuring character-themed message plates perfect for decorating your room or desk at work. Pre-orders are open from Monday, August 17, 2026 at 12:00 noon through Sunday, September 13, 2026 at 23:00.
About Gintama
Gintama is a long-running action-comedy set in an alternate Edo period overrun by alien invaders known as the Amanto, blending slapstick humor, high-octane action, and heartfelt human drama. The TV anime aired for 13 years beginning in 2006, concluding with episode 367 in October 2018.
The franchise has also produced several theatrical films: Gintama: Shinyaku Benizakura-hen (2010), Gintama: Kanketsu-hen – Yorozuya yo Eien Nare (2013, with an original screenplay by manga author Sorachi Hideaki), and Gintama: THE FINAL (2021), which adapted the manga’s conclusion. Most recently, Shin Gekijouban Gintama: Yoshiwara Daienjo — a CinemaScope adaptation of the fan-favorite “Yoshiwara Enjo-hen” arc — opened in theaters on February 13, 2026.
