GKIDS released an English dub trailer for the anime film Tekkonkinkreet in its 4K Remaster version last Tuesday, via the GKIDS Films YouTube channel. The film is adapted from the manga of the same name by Taiyo Matsumoto.
Story
Tekkonkinkreet follows the lives of two orphaned street kids known as Black and White, who call the bustling, crime-ridden city of Treasure Town their home. Tension begins to rise when a yakuza boss named Snake schemes to demolish Treasure Town and build an amusement park in its place — but Black refuses to let that plan succeed so easily.

The anime film was first released in 2006, directed by Michael Arias, produced by Studio 4°C, and distributed by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
About the Manga
The original manga by Taiyo Matsumoto was serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Big Comic Spirits magazine between 1993 and 1994. It was later published in North America by Viz Media. The work was also adapted into a stage production in Tokyo in November 2018.
