The official cast has been announced for the original anime film GROTESQQQUE -グロテスク-, directed and written by Atsushi Nishigori (錦織敦史), who also handles character design. Produced by CloverWorks, the film brings together 14 performers from multiple fields, including voice actors, actors, artists, and idols.
Three Stories Under One Title
The film consists of three stories with completely different settings and worlds, all gathered under one title:
- エリィアンズ (Elians) — the story of an alien girl who teams up with a government official from a space agency to search for “friends”
- 夜露死駆★少女 (Yoroshiku Shoujo) — a chaotic battle royale in which a group of girls fight in a game called “Queen of Butterfly”
- ノクターン～このグロテスクな夜に～ (Nocturne ~In This Grotesque Night~) — a journey involving a pure-blood vampire and three girls who survived being bitten
All three stories will come together under the single title GROTESQQQUE -グロテスク-.
Cast List
The voice cast includes Chika Anzai (安済知佳), Kana Ichinose (市ノ瀬加那), Maaya Uchida (内田真礼), Rumi Okubo (大久保瑠美), Rie Kugimiya (釘宮理恵), Miyu Tomita (富田美憂), Ikumi Hasegawa (長谷川育美), and Saori Hayami (早見沙織).
In addition, popular artist Gen Hoshino (星野源) and actor Sara Minami (南沙良) are also part of the cast.
Four members of the idol group Nogizaka46 (乃木坂46) are joining the project: Misora Ichinose (一ノ瀬美空), Nagi Inoue (井上和), Nao Tomisato (冨里奈央), and Aruno Nakanishi (中西アルノ).
The roles for each cast member have not yet been revealed, with the staff saying more information will be announced later.
