To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Kidou Shin Seiki Gundam X, Bandai has announced two limited-edition mobile suit T-shirts now open for pre-order on the Bandai Namco Group’s official online store, Premium Bandai.
About Gundam X
Kidou Shin Seiki Gundam X is the third entry in the Gundam Alternative Series — titles set outside the Universal Century timeline. The TV anime first aired on 5 April 1996, telling its story from the perspective of the Vulture ship Freeden on a war-ravaged Earth still reeling from the catastrophic “Colony Drop.” The series follows the conflict between the Freeden crew, the New Earth Federation, and the Space Revolutionary Army, while charting the growth of protagonist Garrod Ran as he fights to protect Tiffa. The existence of Newtypes — humans who have evolved beyond ordinary limits — forms one of the story’s central themes. Alongside Gundam X and Gundam DX, the series was also praised for its many uniquely designed mobile suits.
