The manga 「Gyōkou Akujo wa Yaru Koto ga Ōsugiru」 (The Villainess Who’s Too Busy) volume 1, drawn by Takamatsuse Tsubasa and adapted from the original novel by Mijikusa Kamori, has officially gone on sale on May 29.
Story Overview
Diana, a young woman raised as the perfect model of noble femininity, meets a cruel end when she is falsely accused of attempting to poison someone — a charge that is both deeply unjust and infuriating — and is executed by beheading.
Behind all of this is the scheming of Rachel, a girl who appears innocent and fragile on the surface but is in fact orchestrating elaborate villainous plots in a calculated, systematic way — all to steal Diana’s fiancé, Prince August, for herself.
After her execution, Diana finds herself returned to the very same day as the garden party — the starting point of every injustice she suffered — on the verge of repeating. She resolves to cast off the noble lady’s mask and rise up to confront Rachel head-on as a full-fledged “villainess.”
The problem? Only one hour remains before the garden party begins, and there is far more to accomplish than can possibly be counted!
This is the record of the most frantic day of a noble lady who threw away her graceful composure in order to escape a condemned fate within a limited time.
