Two beloved anime series produced by the same studio are joining forces: Haikyuu!!, based on the manga by Haruichi Furudate, and Rilakkuma have officially announced a collaboration titled Rilakkuma × Haikyuu!!. Both series are produced by Production I.G, which has also created 12 brand-new original visuals exclusively for the crossover.

The newly drawn artwork pairs characters from five schools in Haikyuu!! — Karasuno, Aoba Josai, Nekoma, Fukurodani, and Inarizaki — alongside Rilakkuma, Korilakkuma, and their friends in warm, charming scenes.
Pop-Up Stores Across Five Cities
The Rilakkuma × Haikyuu!! POP UP STORE will roll out across Japan in two waves:
- November 20 – December 6, 2026: BASE YARD TOKYO Harajuku (Tokyo) and BASE YARD TOKYO Abeno Q’s Mall (Osaka)
- December 18, 2026 – January 17, 2027: BASE YARD TOKYO Sapporo Stellar Place (Hokkaido), BASE YARD TOKYO Kawaramachi OPA (Kyoto), and BASE YARD TOKYO Minamoa Hiroshima (Hiroshima)
The first wave of collaboration merchandise available at the stores includes trading can badges, acrylic stands, pouches, and socks, among other items.
Lucky Lottery and Special Sweets
A collaboration lucky lottery (くじ) is scheduled for release on January 23, 2027.
Additionally, Card Soft Cookies featuring the collab visuals will go on sale in January 2027. Pre-orders opened on September 24 via Premium Bandai and select online retailers.
