Haikyu!! fans, get ready: Haikyu!! Wafer Vol. 7 will go on sale on June 1, 2026. It will be sold in the confectionery sections of department stores and retailers across Japan for 171 yen, tax included.
About Haikyu!!
Haikyu!! is a manga by Haruichi Furudate serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. It tells the story of high school boys who devote their hearts to volleyball. The TV anime series began airing in 2014, and the film 劇場版ハイキュー!! ゴミ捨て場の決戦 (Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle), which opened on February 16, 2024, has surpassed 20 billion yen at the worldwide box office.
In 2027, the film 劇場版ハイキュー!! VS 小さな巨人 is also scheduled for release, depicting a major clash involving Karasuno, along with the special anime ハイキュー!! バケモノたちの行くところ, which follows the battle between Fukurodani and Nohebi.
Highlights of Wafer Vol. 7
Inside the Vol. 7 wafer boxes are nine special newly drawn cards from Bandai Group. Each card features a luxurious shiny foil-stamped design with a background inspired by each school’s banner. The selected characters are:
- Karasuno: Hinata, Kageyama, Tsukishima
- Aoba Johsai: Oikawa, Iwaizumi
- Nekoma: Kenma, Kuroo
- Fukurodani: Bokuto, Akaashi
In addition to the newly drawn cards, the lineup also includes cards featuring memorable scenes from anime seasons 1-3 and relaxed everyday-life scenes from the OAD, showing another side of the high school students.
