Manga creator Horai Kanna (蓬莱甘ナ) has launched a brand-new series titled 八田未蘭の青春に上等!! (Hatta Miran no Seishun ni Jōtō!!) on the digital manga platform Magazine Pocket as of July 3.
Story
The series centers on Hatta Miran, a first-year high school student and dedicated fujoshi who finds herself isolated from her classmates almost immediately after enrollment — though she couldn’t care less. Instead, she pours her energy into writing BL fan fiction starring Nerima and Kirishima, two of the most popular boys in her class.
Everything changes when Nerima — one of the very boys she has been writing about — accidentally discovers her BL notebook. The incident sets off a chain of events that turns Miran’s high school life completely upside down. The series is described as a high-energy, high-tension coming-of-age story.
