Suiseisha announced on Friday that the webtoon He Does a Body Good (Japanese title: Karada ni Ii Otoko) by Lee Wonsik and Park Hyeongjun is getting an AnimeFesta anime adaptation, set to premiere in January 2027. The anime’s official website confirms that WWWave Corporation‘s OceanVeil service will stream the anime in English.

About the Source Material

The original webtoon ran on Lezhin Comics from November 2014 to March 2017 and remains available in Korean, English, and Japanese. The Japanese print edition — published by Frontier Works — credits the story to “WS” and the art to “YUKIO,” and adapts the characters’ names from Korean to Japanese. The anime’s official website likewise uses the Japanese character names.

About AnimeFesta

AnimeFesta — formerly known as Anime Zone and ComicFesta Anime — is an anime programming block operated by WWWave Corporation, which also runs the ComicFesta web manga service. Over the past eight years, AnimeFesta has produced short anime adaptations of more than 30 ComicFesta manga titles, many of which are adult or risqué in nature. Most series are released in two versions: a censored “broadcast” version for television and an uncensored “premium” version for online streaming. In addition to OceanVeil, WWWave distributes many of its anime titles in English through its Coolmic website.
