Story
Ichitaro Yamada is an ordinary high school student with a tendency to become completely absorbed in whatever he sets his mind to. One day, he and his entire class are suddenly transported to another world. Upon arrival, Ichitaro is evaluated as a Rank E hero — the lowest possible rating — and deemed useless. He is promptly locked away in a prison where time stands still.
Determined to survive, Ichitaro throws himself into sword training with single-minded devotion. By the time he finally escapes, 100 million years have passed within the timeless prison. He emerges as the ultimate swordsman, having mastered every form of swordsmanship in existence. Armed with a weapon once mocked as nothing more than a plain stick — which is in fact an all-purpose divine artifact — and a fierce alter ego known as “Kenki” (剣鬼) forged through extreme training, Ichitaro is ready to overwhelm the new world.
