Kadokawa has released an official teaser video for the TV anime adaptation of the manga Isshiki-san wa Koi o Shiritai (Ms. Isshiki Wants to Know About Love), based on the work by Ayune Araragi. The teaser reveals the main voice cast, additional staff, and confirms a premiere in January 2027.

Story Summary
This romantic comedy follows Isshiki Rinna Milford, a female police detective chief who has been on the job since age 17 but has had virtually no experience with romance, and Meishi Rokutanda, a good-natured young man who is a bit lazy and not particularly skilled at his work. As two complete newcomers to love, they gradually step into a relationship in their own way while simultaneously venturing out together to explore the world of romance.
Main Staff
The anime is produced by Sakura Create under the direction of Kazuya Komai, who has previously directed episodes of anime such as Tenjho Tenge, BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad, and Pita-Ten. Deko Akao, known for series composition work on Komi Can’t Communicate, Noragami, and The Case Study of Vanitas, handles series composition, while Shōhei Hamaguchi from Glamorous Heroes serves as character designer.
Source Material
Araragi began serializing the manga in Kadokawa’s Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine in June 2020, and the series has reached 9 compiled volumes, with the latest released last October 23. Yen Press has also licensed the English-language edition.
