Good Smile Company has unveiled a second main visual and a new promotional video for its all-original robot anime Juuou Bushin Dandevine, generating fresh excitement ahead of its October premiere.
Second Main Visual
The new key visual places protagonist Shijima Gekijin front and center, flanked by his girlfriend Kusumi Akane and his younger sister Shijima Kirei. Towering over the cityscape in the background is Dandevine itself.
Latest PV: Combination Sequence and Romance
The new PV introduces Gekijin alongside the mysterious trio of sisters — Haru, Natsu, and Aki — as well as employees of toy manufacturer Kasuga. A standout moment comes from Kasuga president Shijima Genjurou (voiced by Ono Atsushi), who delivers the ominous line: “As long as the toys sell, I don’t care if the whole world burns!”
Battle sequences show the DandeAce units combining to form the mighty Dandevine, while the latter portion of the PV hints at Gekijin’s budding romance. The video also confirms that the opening theme is titled “残響≠ブラスター (Zankyou≠Blaster)”, written and performed by Nishikawa Takanori, and the track plays throughout the PV.
Story
Set in a Tokyo beset by mysterious enemies, the series follows ordinary high schooler Shijima Gekijin as he climbs into the cockpit of Dandevine and throws himself into battle.
