The Aniplex One Focus livestream event held on Saturday debuted the main promotional video for Good Smile Company‘s original anime Jyuō Mujin Dandivine (Beast King War God Dandivine). Alongside the PV, the event also unveiled a new key visual and full details on the series’ theme songs.

Takanori Nishikawa performs the opening theme “Zankyō ≠ Blaster,” while DayRe: handles the ending theme “Mikansei Ordinary” (Incomplete Ordinary).

The anime is being produced at LIDEN FILMS and Kayac Animation under director Yi Cao. Series veteran Toshiki Inoue — known for multiple Kamen Rider series and Death Note — is overseeing and writing the scripts. robin is handling character design, based on original designs by Majiro (Macross Delta). An of GOD BRAVE STUDIO serves as mechanical designer, and Yoshikazu Iwanami (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure) is the sound director.
Story
Set 20 years after the giant robot Dandivine defeated the mysterious enemy known as the Aposdoll, the world has enjoyed an era of peace. However, toy company Kasuga — which once thrived on Dandivine merchandise — has fallen into decline. When company president Genjūrō Shijima prays for Dandivine’s revival, the Aposdoll suddenly reappears. High school student Gekiha Shijima is then invited by his uncle Yūsaku Kuroiwa, Dandivine’s former lead pilot, to take the controls of the legendary mecha himself.
Manga Adaptation & Project Significance
A manga adaptation drawn by TOGUCHI is currently serialized in Kadokawa’s Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh. Jyuō Mujin Dandivine is the first project in Good Smile Company’s “Gattaishin Series” (The God of Combined Series) and serves as a commemorative work for the company’s 25th anniversary.
