The production team behind the tokusatsu TV drama Kamen Rider Mice has announced its third cast reveal, naming two more members of the rival Jūnishi Alliance (十二支同盟): Jōi Iwanaga as Vankern / Kamen Rider Vankern, and Kasumi Hasegawa as Mutton / Kamen Rider Mutton.
About Kamen Rider Mice
Kamen Rider Mice is the latest entry in the long-running “Kamen Rider” franchise, set to premiere on September 6, 2026 on TV Asahi, airing every Sunday from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. The series follows protagonist Otosumi Sora, who transforms into Kamen Rider Mice — a Rider themed after a mouse. Lead actor Ikuho Akiya was previously announced in the starring role.
Vankern — The Dog of the Jūnishi Alliance
Vankern represents the Dog (戌) sign within the Jūnishi Alliance. A deeply literary soul who always carries a poetry anthology, he also possesses a razor-sharp instinct for detecting the mysterious monsters known as “Fukashigi” that prey on ordinary people.
The role goes to Jōi Iwanaga, known internationally for his appearances in Raging Fire starring Donnie Yen and the live-action Blue Lock film. Iwanaga’s exceptional athleticism and physical conditioning have fans eager to see what kind of action sequences he will bring to the series.

Mutton — The Sheep of the Jūnishi Alliance
Mutton holds the Sheep (未) position in the Jūnishi Alliance. She tends to be perpetually drowsy, but harbours an intense devotion to Vankern — whom she affectionately calls “Ken-sama” — and becomes completely uncontrollable when anything involving him is at stake, to the point where even fellow Alliance members cannot rein her in.
The role is played by Kasumi Hasegawa, who is fresh in fans’ memories from her appearance in Ōsama Sentai King-Ohger (2023–2024). She expressed genuine surprise at landing a transformation role of her own.
