A brand-new merchandise line themed around a “Cheer Squad” (応援団 ver.) has been announced for the TV anime Kanojo, Okarishimasu (Rent-A-Girlfriend). The goods will go on advance sale at the Chugai Kogyo booth during Comic Market 108, scheduled for August 15–16, 2026.
About Kanojo, Okarishimasu
Kanojo, Okarishimasu is a romantic comedy manga by Reiji Miyajima, serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine. The story follows Kazuya Kinoshita, a hapless college student who, after being dumped by his girlfriend, meets Chizuru Mizuhara — a “rental girlfriend” — and ends up lying to his family and friends that she is his real girlfriend.
The anime’s first season premiered in July 2020. Season 5 (Hawaiians Arc, second cour) began airing in April 2026, and the season finale announced the production of Season 6 (Cohabitation Arc). The voice cast includes Shun Horie as Kazuya, Sora Amamiya as Chizuru, Aoi Yuki as Mami Nanami, Nao Higashiyama as Ruka Sarashina, Rie Takahashi as Sumi Sakurasawa, and Yu Serizawa as Mini Yaemori. Animation is produced by TMS Entertainment / Studio 6.
Specially Drawn Cheer Squad Artwork
The centerpiece of the lineup is a set of newly drawn illustrations (描き下ろし) depicting Chizuru, Mami, Ruka, Sumi, and Mini all dressed in modified gakuran (学ラン) uniforms styled as cheer squad outfits, complete with midriff-baring designs, as they send their full-powered support to fans.

Both in-person and online purchases come with a bonus: every ¥3,000 (tax included) spent earns one randomly selected “Cheer Squad Member Card” (特典団員証) mini illustration card, with five varieties in total.
