The TV anime Kashita Maryoku wa [Ribo Harai] de Kyōsei Chōshū has announced a premiere date of October 3, 2026, broadcasting on TV Asahi and its nationwide network of 24 stations across Japan. Alongside the premiere announcement, the production released its second promotional video, confirmed voice actor Namikawa Daisuke in the role of Roger, and revealed the series’ opening and ending theme songs.
About the Series
The anime is based on the manga of the same name serialized in COMIC Meteor, written by Masakichi and illustrated by Iijima Shingou, with the original work having surpassed a cumulative 2 million copies in circulation.
Set in a world where a divine “Gift” bestowed by the God of Creation determines one’s fate, the story follows protagonist Rent, who possesses the Gift of forcibly reclaiming magical power he has lent to others. After being betrayed and expelled from his party, Rent sets out to collect the vast amounts of mana owed to him by his former companions, using that power to grow stronger on a path of revenge and self-discovery.

Theme Songs
The opening theme will be “Risk Rate” (リスクレート), a new track by BUDDiiS. The ending theme will be “Iremono” (いれもの) by Kotani.
BUDDiiS member SHOW described “Risk Rate” as a song about the inner conflict of pursuing desires and making choices — knowing that every gain comes with risk and cost — while still moving forward alongside companions. He noted it showcases a more mature and powerful side of the group than fans have seen before.
Kotani explained that “Iremono” was written while reflecting on the act of giving and receiving — and on what passes between people in that exchange. Rather than leaving one empty, giving becomes a source of renewed strength through connection with others. Kotani expressed hope that the song would walk alongside Rent and his companions as they reclaim their own direction through the bonds they form.
