ภาพยนตร์ Shin Gekijōban Keroro Gunsō ฉลองครบรอบ 20 ปี

The official website for the film Shin Gekijōban ☆ Keroro Gunsō Fukkatsu Shite Sokkō Chikyū Metsubō no Kiki de Arimasu! (or New Sgt. Frog the Movie: The Earth Is in Mortal Peril as Soon as We Come Back!), the 20th anniversary theatrical anime project, has announced additional guest voice cast members.

Guest Voice Cast

  • Tomokazu Seki — Warrior No. 7
  • Natsuki Hanae — Alien
  • Kōichi Yamadera — Space Police Chief
  • Keigo Satō (member of JO1) — A Shibuya man possessed by a ghost and turned into a delinquent
  • Yūsei Yagi (member of FANTASTICS) — A Shibuya man possessed by a ghost who inadvertently reveals secrets and inner feelings
  • Suzanne — Kumamoto news anchor
  • Rina Watanabe (member of Hinatazaka46) — A woman from Shibuya

In addition, Jesse of idol group SixTONES will voice two new characters simultaneously: Aruru and Deruru, alien siblings who appear to share a history with Keroro’s platoon.

Singer ano and comedian Soshina, who together performed the film’s theme song “Mata Kaettekita KERO! to MARCH”, also appear in the film in voice roles. ano plays an animated scientist character, while Soshina plays a Shibuya townsman. Beyond the theme song, ano will additionally perform a second song titled “Kashippanashi Destiny” for the film.

Production Staff

The film is helmed by Yūichi Fukuda, known for directing and writing the live-action Gintama films, Saint Young Men, and HK/Hentai Kamen, serving as director and screenwriter. Fumitoshi Oizaki, the original character designer for Keroro Gunsō and director of Romeo X Juliet, Etotama, and Akuma Kun, directs the anime under Bandai Namco Pictures, alongside Satoshi Koike (Etotama, Soul Eater Not!, Princess Connect! Re:Dive Season 2) as character designer.

Release Date and Additional Details

The film is scheduled to open in Japanese cinemas on June 26, and will feature the original franchise voice cast.

Beyond the film, a new TV anime series titled Keroro Gunsō ☆ has also been announced, set to begin airing in the summer of 2026. The new TV series will feature an entirely new voice cast.

The original Keroro Gunsō TV anime, produced by Sunrise and based on the manga by Mine Yoshizaki, aired from 2004 to 2011 for a total of 358 episodes and spawned five theatrical films. Crunchyroll added the series to its catalog in 2021, and in the United States, Discotek has released the complete series on SD Blu-ray Disc by season.
