Fans of Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer) can now open their wallets — Aniplex Online, the direct select shop under the Aniplex network, has launched pre-orders for a new merchandise collection featuring “Minitaichi” (the adorable chibi Demon Slayer characters) and original illustrations by ufotable, available until May 31, 2026.
About Kimetsu no Yaiba
Kimetsu no Yaiba is adapted from the manga by Gotoge Koyoharu, serialized in Shueisha’s magazine, totaling 23 volumes with a worldwide cumulative circulation surpassing 220 million copies. The story follows Kamado Tanjiro, a young boy who loses his family to a demon attack and sets out to save his younger sister Nezuko, who was turned into a demon, by joining the Demon Slayer Corps (Kisatsutai). The charm of the series lies in its deeply moving story of the bond between humans and demons, intense battles, compelling characters, and the comedy woven throughout.
The anime adaptation produced by ufotable first aired in April 2019 with the arc Kamado Tanjiro Risshi-hen, and continued through the three-part theatrical film Mugen-jo-hen (Infinity Castle Arc), the first installment of which — Part 1: Akaza Ikai — opened on July 18, 2025, amassing 27,455,968 admissions and a box office gross of 40,200,190,000 yen within 266 days, making it the second highest-grossing film of all time in Japan, surpassed only by Mugen Ressha-hen.
