Fans of Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer) have a new piece of merchandise to look forward to. The Hokago Mates (放課後メイツ) goods series — known for its nostalgic yet fresh “Newtro” aesthetic — is releasing a set of fluffy Shippo Charm Mini (tail charms) inspired by Tanjiro and the nine Pillars. Pre-orders are currently open at Animate stores across Japan, Animate Online Shop, and Movic Online Shop.
About Kimetsu no Yaiba
Kimetsu no Yaiba is a manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha). The story follows Kamado Tanjiro, a boy who loses his family to demons and joins the Demon Slayer Corps in order to find a way to restore his sister Nezuko, who has been turned into a demon. The series has surpassed 220 million copies in total circulation.
The anime, produced by ufotable, launched in April 2019 and has continued to expand. The latest entry is the theatrical trilogy Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Jou-hen, whose first chapter — “Chapter One: Akaza Returns” — opened in Japanese cinemas on July 18, 2025. A full series rerun also began on April 5, 2026.
