คิตานิ ทัตสึยะ และ โยชิดะ มิซึกิ ใน MV เพลง Isho เพลงเปิดAnime Kore Kaite Shine

On Wednesday, August 12 at 9:00 p.m. JST, Kitani Tatsuya officially released the music video for his new song “Isho” (遺書).

Opening Theme for Kore Kaite Shine

“Isho” was written exclusively as the opening theme for the summer-season TV anime Kore Kaite Shine (これ描いて死ね). The series is adapted from the award-winning manga that took home the Manga Taisho 2023 grand prize and the 70th Shogakukan Manga Award, and follows young people burning with passion for creating manga. The anime is directed by Akagi Hiroaki and produced by Shin-Ei Animation, airing every Friday at 11:30 p.m. on Nippon TV’s Fula Ani block across 30 stations nationwide. The cast includes Sekine Akira, Hayami Saori, Hidaka Noriko, and Tanezaki Atsumi.

Yoshida Mizuki Stars in the MV

The music video features actress and model Yoshida Mizuki, who gained widespread recognition for voicing the character Kyoko in the animated film Look Back. She has also been announced as a lead cast member in NHK’s morning drama (asadora) Meguru Swan (巡るスワン), set to air in the first half of 2027.

In the MV, Yoshida plays a girl with a boundless imagination. Each time her fantasies swell, countless balloons appear and gradually transform into enormous presences — a visual metaphor for the joy, anguish, and unstoppable urge to create. During Kitani’s own performance segments, layered visual effects are used to externalize the inner conflict and contemplation of a creator, weaving his story together with the girl’s in a fantastical tapestry.

The Concept Behind “Isho”

Kitani Tatsuya shared his thoughts on the song’s theme, describing creative activity as “a scream that says, ‘I am here (I was here).'” He sees it as the endeavor of those who want to carve themselves into their work and place it in some corner of the world. He wants to be known even a thousand years from now — and believes that only creative work makes that possible.

“Creation is, in short, a will and testament that is continuously overwritten and updated for as long as one is alive!”
