About Konjiki no Gash!! (「金色のガッシュ!!」)
Konjiki no Gash!! (Zatch Bell!) is an action-fantasy manga by Raiku Makoto, serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday from issue 6 of 2001 through the combined issue 4/5 of 2008. The story follows 100 demons competing to claim the sole title of “king” by partnering with humans, centering on Kiyomaro, a lonely prodigy, and Gash, a pure-hearted young demon, as they grow stronger together in body and spirit.
The work was adapted into a TV anime titled Konjiki no Gash Bell!! by Toei Animation, which aired from April 2003 to March 2006, and also spawned anime films and games. Additionally, a sequel, Konjiki no Gash!! 2, began digital serialization in March 2022.
