A brand-new line of original illustration merchandise for TV anime Kore Kaite Shine (これ描いて死ね) has been announced, with pre-orders opening on Friday, September 25, 2026 via the online shop Tomosuto (ともすと).
About Kore Kaite Shine
Based on the manga by Minoru Toyoda, serialized in Shogakukan’s Gessan magazine, the series claimed both the Manga Taisho 2023 grand prize and the 70th Shogakukan Manga Award, earning widespread praise on social media. The story follows Ankai So, a first-year high school student living on Izu Oshima — an island in the Tokyo island chain — who is passionate about reading manga. After a particular encounter sparks her desire to create manga herself, she sets off down that path. The series is a coming-of-age romance of manga creation, packed with both the joy and the struggle of making art.
