The official main trailer for LEGO® ONE PIECE, the new animated series based on Eiichiro Oda‘s beloved manga, has been released.
Usopp Spins His Tall Tales — and the Crew Pushes Back
The trailer puts Usopp front and center as the story’s self-appointed narrator, spinning the Straw Hats’ exploits into wildly exaggerated legends. Right from the start, he tries to introduce himself as the protagonist of the whole saga — only for Nami to cut him off immediately. What follows is a rapid-fire montage of fearsome rivals and chaotic misadventures, with Usopp’s version of events conveniently casting himself as the bold, capable leader who saves the day every time. Sanji, for one, isn’t buying it, firing back with a blunt “There’s no way that’s how it happened!” The trailer closes with a fun cameo from the live-action ONE PIECE series’ versions of Usopp and Chopper.
Additional Voice Cast Announced
Alongside the trailer, the production revealed further voice cast details:
- Buggy, captain of the Buggy Pirates — voiced by Shigeru Chiba, reprising his role from the original anime
- Arlong, captain of the Arlong Pirates — voiced by Hiroki Higashichi
- Vivi, princess of the Alabasta Kingdom — voiced by Misa Watanabe, also reprising her role from the original anime
Premise and Release Date
In LEGO® ONE PIECE, Usopp takes on the role of a “Builder” who recounts the Straw Hats’ grand journey — from the East Blue all the way to the Grand Line — to a newly joined Chopper. Naturally, the tales come with a generous helping of Usopp-style embellishment.
The series will launch exclusively on Netflix worldwide on September 29, 2026.
