About Love Live! Nijigasaki
Love Live! Nijigasaki is one of the branches of the multimedia “Love Live!” franchise, centered on the theme “a story everyone creates together.” It follows the girls who are members of the “School Idol Club” at Nijigasaki Gakuen, a school known for its free-spirited and diverse course offerings. The characters each chase their own individual dreams — sometimes as rivals, sometimes as companions — on the path to becoming number-one school idols.
The TV anime first aired in October 2020 and ran for two full seasons totaling 26 episodes. In 2023, it received a special OVA episode “NEXT SKY,” and since 2024 a theatrical three-part film series “完結編 (Kanketsu-hen)” has been screening in cinemas. The final installment, “完結編 最終章,” is scheduled to release this coming winter.
