To celebrate the 55th anniversary of the Lupin the Third anime, Nippon TV and affiliated broadcasters will air a special programming block titled Lupin the Third: Masterpiece Selection (ルパン三世傑作選) beginning October 3.
The franchise’s anime adaptation first aired in 1971, and this year marks 55 years since that historic broadcast. The special will feature episodes chosen entirely by fan vote through the program’s official website.
13 Episodes Spanning Every Series
The lineup consists of the top two fan-voted episodes from each of the main series — PART1 through PART6 — plus the top episode from the spin-off TV series LUPIN the Third: The Woman Called Fujiko Mine (LUPIN the Third ～峰不二子という女～), bringing the total to 13 episodes.

Vote for a Chance to Win Signed Merchandise
Voting remains open on the official Masterpiece Selection website. Five lucky voters will win a Lupin the Third: Ryūhakunami Sansei Hekisui no Reijō T-shirt bearing the handwritten signatures of all five main cast members: Kanichi Kurita, Akio Otsuka, Daisuke Namikawa, Miyuki Sawashiro, and Koichi Yamadera. A total of 25 prizes are available across all categories.
The voting deadline is August 31.
