It has been officially confirmed that Mahou Shoujo Madoka☆Magica: Walpurgis no Kaiten will be screened in IMAX format, launching simultaneously on August 28.
Alongside the announcement, a new IMAX-exclusive visual has been unveiled. The artwork centers on Walpurgis Night as its main motif — a catastrophic event long spoken of in the Madoka☆Magica series and a key concept in this latest installment.
Notably, this marks the first time any entry in the Madoka☆Magica franchise has been presented in IMAX, making it a landmark moment for the series and its fans.
