The compilation film for the anime 「前橋ウィッチーズ」(Maebashi Witches) has been officially confirmed for release in autumn 2025, under the full title 「劇場版 前橋ウィッチーズ ～魔女見習いのエモエモリーズ～」. Alongside the announcement, the first teaser visual has been revealed for fans to enjoy.
Announced at a Tokyo Concert
All of this information was unveiled at the concert event 「『前橋ウィッチーズ』ライブ STRAIGHT! REACH!! CHEER!!!」 held in Tokyo on May 24 of this year. The teaser visual debuted at the event was newly drawn by Yui Nami (ユウイナミ), the original character designer for the series.
First Merchandise Round on Sale July 3
Additionally, the first round of Movie Pre-showing Merchandise was announced, consisting of one card featuring the teaser visual and five cards featuring individual Maebashi Witches members — six designs in total — going on sale on July 3, 2025.
Two-Year Anniversary Live at Maebashi
The voice cast of 前橋ウィッチーズ will hold a solo concert to celebrate the group’s 2nd anniversary under the title 「『前橋ウィッチーズ』活動2周年記念ライブ ～We are 前橋ウィッチーズ!!」 on September 26–27, 2025 at Shoken Gakuen Maebashi Hall in Gunma Prefecture — the real-world setting that inspired the story.
Those who wish to enter the lottery for special reserved seats can receive a serial code from the Blu-ray of the 1st anniversary concert 「We are 前橋ウィッチーズ!～」, which goes on sale on June 10, 2025; pre-sale pre-orders open the same day.
Mini Album with Anime Soundtrack and Original Songs
On September 30, 2025, a mini album containing the anime soundtrack and special songs created to celebrate Maebashi Witches’ 2nd anniversary will be released.
About the Anime Maebashi Witches
「前橋ウィッチーズ」is an original anime work by SUNRISE Studios, a studio in the Bandai Namco Filmworks group, which aired from April through June 2025. Set in Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture, it follows five high school girls stepping into the world of competitive cheerleading and growing together as a team. Directed by Yamamoto Junichi (山元雷一), screenplay by Yoshida Erika (吉田恵里香).
