An official collaboration illustration has been released featuring characters from the theatrical anime Maebashi Witches (劇場版 前橋ウィッチーズ ～魔女見習いのエモエモリーズ～), set to open in Japanese cinemas on October 23, 2026, and the TV anime Mahō no Shimai Lulut Lily (魔法の姉妹ルルットリリィ). The artwork was drawn exclusively by Itagaki Norihiro, item designer and chief animation director on Maebashi Witches.
The illustration depicts Yuina from Maebashi Witches and Lily from Mahō no Shimai Lulut Lily swapping each other’s magical sticks, while Keroppe and Kandachi Yasuo look on from the sidelines.
Alongside the illustration reveal, a special exhibition event — “Mahō no Shimai Lulut Lily PROPLICA Release Commemorative SPECIAL Exhibition in TAMASHII NATIONS STORE TOKYO” — has been announced. The event celebrates both the start of the anime’s second cour and the release of two PROPLICA toy sets: the PROPLICA Stat Neoneon & Glass Heart Hope Pact Set and the PROPLICA Moont Neoneon & Glass Heart Dream Pact Set. It will run from October 24, 2024 through January 11, 2027 at TAMASHII NATIONS STORE TOKYO. Visitors can view both PROPLICA sets on display, as well as the costumes worn by cast members Tachibana Mei and Kojika Nao at a premium screening event.
Comment from Sugita Tomokazu
Sugita Tomokazu, who voices Keroppe in Maebashi Witches and Kandachi Yasuo in Mahō no Shimai Lulut Lily, offered the following comment:
“Am I dreaming? Yasuo and the frog are together like it’s X-M○N vs Street F○ghter…? Let’s think positive! If both of them use magic, it’s only natural they’d join forces! My heartfelt thanks to both sides for their generosity. Everyone, please continue to support Maebashi Witches and Production Wansumoa!”
