The TV anime Magic Knight Rayearth (魔法騎士レイアース), based on the original manga by CLAMP, has officially announced additional voice cast members. Saori Hayami will play Princess Emeraude, Yuki Ono will play Zagato, and Mika Kikuchi will play Mokona.

The series will air on TV Asahi during the “IMAnimation W” programming block every Wednesday at 23:45 starting in October 2026.

New Character Details

• Emeraude (voiced by Saori Hayami) – The princess of the otherworldly realm Cephiro, who serves as the “pillar” sustaining peace in that world
• Zagato (voiced by Yuki Ono) – A former priest who once protected Princess Emeraude, but later plotted to destroy Cephiro and is accused of imprisoning the princess
• Mokona (voiced by Mika Kikuchi) – A cute creature who travels with the Magic Knights, full of cheer and charm while still holding many mysteries

Story Overview

Magic Knight Rayearth follows three girls, Hikaru Shidou, Umi Ryuuzaki, and Fuu Hououji, who are suddenly transported to the fantasy world of Cephiro. When they learn that Princess Emeraude has been imprisoned and the world is in danger, the three must become the legendary “Magic Knights” to save the princess and protect the realm.

Anime Expo 2026 Appearance

The staff also announced that the series will appear at Anime Expo 2026, the largest anime event in North America. Episodes 1 and 2 will receive a world premiere screening, and Rie Takahashi (voice of Fuu) and Saori Hayami (voice of Emeraude) will appear on stage at the event.
