Story
Wim Strauss is a Granting Caster — a support-type magic user whose skills prove invaluable when his party is in a pinch. But when his abilities bruise the ego of his party’s leader, he finds himself unceremoniously kicked out. His fortunes reverse when Heidemarie, his childhood friend (and self-appointed stalker), invites him to join Nachtlibelle, one of the most elite guilds in the land. His talents may lack flash, but surrounded by his new eccentric crew, this supporting act just might get his chance to shine center stage.
Background
Haka Tokura originally launched the story on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō web platform in November 2020. A manga adaptation debuted on the Manga ga Ugau app in September 2021. Futabasha has published 11 compiled book volumes, with the most recent released on April 30. Seven Seas Entertainment holds the license for both the light novel series and its manga adaptation in English.
