The official website for the fall 2026 anime Mahou no Shimai Lulutrilily (魔法の姉妹ルルットリリィ) has released the synopsis and advance scene cuts for Episode 13, “Secret Message (秘密のメッセージ)” — the opening episode of the series’ second cour, set to air on Sunday, October 4, 2026.
About the Series
An original TV anime produced by Studio Pierrot, Mahou no Shimai Lulutrilily is the latest entry in the studio’s beloved “Pierrot Mahou Shoujo Series,” which continues to attract fans both in Japan and internationally. The series is directed by Michitoki Shintaro, who also serves as the original character designer.
The story centers on two sisters: Nonomyama Kaze, a carefree elementary schooler eagerly awaiting summer vacation, and Nonomyama Ryu, a reserved but hardworking middle schooler. Once close, the two have gradually drifted apart. Everything changes when Kaze encounters a mysterious spaceship and is granted magical powers — and Ryu, unbeknownst to her sister, receives the same gift. Both girls can transform into the adult versions of themselves they’ve always dreamed of being, but they must follow two strict rules: the magic lasts only one year, and no one can ever find out. Without knowing the other’s secret, each sister begins a life as an idol.
The first cour aired from April to June 2026, with the second cour launching in October.
