TV anime Mairimashita! Iruma-kun, based on the original manga by Nishi Osamu, has announced a collaboration with professional baseball team the Saitama Seibu Lions. The Lions’ home game against the Orix Buffaloes on August 19, 2026 at Belluna Dome in Saitama Prefecture will be held as a special themed event day titled 「魔入りました！入間くん×シンクイノベーションデー！」 (Mairimashita! Iruma-kun × Think Innovation Day!).
The collaboration stems from a natural connection: the protagonist Suzuki Iruma shares his name with Iruma City in Saitama Prefecture — the same prefecture where the Seibu Lions are based. The series has previously collaborated with Iruma City for the same reason.
Event Highlights
On the day of the event, Kuroda Takaya, the voice actor behind Sullivan, will appear alongside a Mofuego costume character (Iruma’s familiar). Planned activities include:
- A ceremonial first pitch (始球式) thrown by Kuroda Takaya
- An on-field talk show
- In-stadium announcements to hype up the crowd throughout the game
Collaboration Merchandise
Exclusive collaboration goods featuring newly drawn artwork will be sold at the venue. The illustration depicts Iruma and his friends dressed in lion-motif cheerleader-style outfits, a nod to the Lions’ team mascot.
