The 「松井優征原画展 ～The Appeal of Human～」(Matsui Yusei Gengaten: The Appeal of Human) exhibition will open at Yurakucho Marui in Tokyo from January 15 to 24, 2027, running daily from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (last entry 30 minutes before closing). General admission is priced at 2,200 yen.
About the Exhibition
The exhibition centers on the theme of “the appeal of human beings” — a thread that runs consistently through all of Matsui Yusei’s work. It brings together approximately 300 pieces, including:
- Original manuscript pages from Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro
- Original manuscript pages from Assassination Classroom
- Reproduction prints of digital artwork from Nige Jouzu no Wakagimi (The Elusive Samurai)
A selection of content from the Nige Jouzu no Wakagimi Special Exhibition held in August will also be featured, alongside newly drawn illustrations created exclusively for this exhibition by Matsui himself.
Entry Gifts and Merchandise
Every visitor will receive one randomly selected foil-stamped oversized postcard from a set of three designs as an entry gift. Exhibition-exclusive merchandise, including acrylic stands and pin badges, will also be available for purchase at the venue.
Osaka Leg (Currently Running)
The exhibition is currently on display at Namba Marui in Osaka from September 11 through October 4, 2026, with the same hours and admission price. Osaka-exclusive merchandise is also available at that venue.
