Anime fans, get ready to be thrilled! The production teams have announced an extraordinary crossover collaboration between the TV anime 「名探偵コナン」(Meitantei Conan) — the original work by Aoyama Gosho — and the TV anime 「名探偵プリキュア！」(Meitantei Pretty Cure!). The two series will exchange characters across universes, making this a collaboration that has never happened before in the history of either franchise.
Conan Appears in Meitantei Pretty Cure! Episode 18
Edogawa Conan, along with Mori Ran and Mori Kogoro, will appear in Meitantei Pretty Cure! Episode 18「名探偵の共演」, which airs on May 31 at 8:30 a.m.
In this episode, Anna and Mikuru encounter a case involving stolen artwork that is supposed to be exhibited at a museum, while both teams are chasing the same criminal. They unexpectedly run into Conan, Ran, and Kogoro, who have come to visit Makoto City for reasons unknown — and together, the Pretty Cure duo and Conan join forces to solve the mystery against the criminal gang Fantom.
A Pretty Cure Character Appears in Meitantei Conan Episode「はなまる真実」
On the Pretty Cure side, a character will appear in the Meitantei Conan episode 「はなまる真実」, airing on June 6 at 6:00 p.m.
The story begins when Yoshida Ayumi hears news of a series of bizarre thefts in a town she’s visiting, which reminds her of plot elements from the “Pretty Cure” anime she follows. She gets excited, saying: “If the thief shows up, I might get to meet a Pretty Cure!” The young detective group volunteers to guard a jewel shop rumored to be the next target — and while they successfully catch the gang of thieves, Ayumi notices something feels off…
