The TV anime 『名探偵プリキュア！』 (Meitantei Precure!) has revealed the synopsis and preview images for episode 18, “名探偵の共演（アッセンブル）” (Great Detectives Assemble), scheduled to air on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. on ABC Television and the 24-station TV Asahi network across Japan.
The key highlight of the episode is a cross-company collaboration that can almost be called a “miracle” between Meitantei Precure! and 『名探偵コナン』 (Detective Conan), with Minami Takayama returning to voice Conan Edogawa. It is a crossover across both broadcast networks and anime production companies that fans should not miss.
What Is Meitantei Precure!?
Meitantei Precure! is the 23rd Pretty Cure series, built around a “detective” theme and the core idea of “seeing with your own eyes, feeling with your own heart, thinking with your own mind, and finding the true answer.” The story is set in 1999, where protagonist Anna Akechi is sent back from the present day by a mysterious power. She meets Mikuru Kobayashi, and the two transform into detective Pretty Cures to help people in trouble. The story depicts friendship and growth across time.
Episode 18 Synopsis
Anna and Mikuru are helping their senior Jet prepare an exhibition by glass artist Misako Shindo at the Hojo Museum of Art. The exhibition’s featured piece is a glass slipper titled “12時のわすれもの” (Forgotten at Midnight).
However, an unexpected incident occurs when the museum falls into chaos and the glass slipper mysteriously disappears. Jet has to return to the Kyutt Detective Agency, so he assigns Anna and Mikuru to handle the case instead. The two suspect the mysterious Phantom Thief Gang and begin investigating how the glass slipper could have been taken away, but they find no trace at all.
