A new key visual from the special theatrical version 「臨時増発 ミルキー★サブウェイ 各駅停車 劇場行き」 (Rinji Zōhatsu Milky★Subway: Kakueki Teisha Gekijō Yuki) has been revealed. This version is an expanded theatrical release of the original anime 「銀河特急 ミルキー★サブウェイ 各駅停車 劇場行き」, featuring new 2D animation. Attendees will also receive a limited-edition mini-manga newly drawn by Kono Don, the manga adapter for this series, available in limited quantities.
New Visual and Screening Formats
The special version opens in theaters on June 12, 2026, in three formats: MX4D, 4DX, and standard 2D. The newly revealed visual features characters Cart, Max, and Detective Asami together, and the scene will appear as a post-credit scene after the main story ends — running under one minute in length.
Special Talk Show Event on June 13
On June 13, 2026, TOHO Cinemas Roppongi Hills in Tokyo will host two special screenings with talk show events. Director Kameyama Yōhei and composer/sound designer Doi Kōhei will take the stage, along with mascot character Poppy-kun in costume adding a festive touch.

About the Milky★Subway Series
「銀河特急 ミルキー★サブウェイ」 (Ginga Tokkyū Milky★Subway) began as a short anime series that aired and streamed starting in 2025. It follows six main characters — Chiharu, Makina, Akane, Kanata, Cart, and Max — who find themselves riding a runaway train speeding through a galaxy with no one in control, or at least no one known as “Milky★Subway.” All six must work together to race through the train and find a way to stop it. The series was subsequently adapted into a new expanded version for theatrical release under the title 「銀河特急 ミルキー★サブウェイ 各駅停車 劇場行き」 on February 6, 2026.
