About the Series
Ginga Tokkyu Milky☆Subway has been on a remarkable run: the theatrical film Ginga Tokkyu Milky☆Subway: Kakueki Teisha Gekijou-yuki opened in February 2026 to massive success, and an expanded version — Rinji Zohatsu Milky☆Subway: Kakueki Teisha Gekijou-yuki — featuring additional new scenes began screening in June 2026.
The story follows Chiharu, an enhanced human, and Makina, a cyborg, who are arrested for violating galactic traffic laws. Thrown together with fellow detainees — enhanced humans Akane and Kanata, and cyborgs Cart and Max — the mismatched group is assigned community service by police officer Ryoko: cleaning the interplanetary train known as the Milky☆Subway. What should be a simple task spirals out of control when the train suddenly goes haywire, dragging everyone into a major incident. No agenda, no ideology, no grand plan — just a completely unhinged space-train spectacle driven entirely by vibes.
School-Themed New Illustrations
The online lottery collection is built around a “school” theme, showcasing brand-new illustrations of Chiharu, Makina, and other characters dressed in a variety of uniforms — sailor uniforms, gakuran, and blazers among them. Ryoko makes a special appearance in a teacher’s outfit, making this lineup a must-see for fans.
