The Monogatari Series anime franchise and hololive VTuber unit 秘密結社holoX (Himitsu Kessha holoX) have announced an official collaboration in the form of an immersive exhibition titled 「X物語-バツモノガタリ-」. The event is scheduled to run from January 3 to 22, 2027, at BEAM Gallery in Shibuya, Tokyo.
Two Worlds Collide
The title “X物語” (Batsu Monogatari) evokes the idea of two distinct fictional universes crossing paths — an “X” marking the intersection of the Monogatari Series and holoX. The exhibition will feature:
- Displays of exclusive collaboration illustrations
- Sales of original merchandise produced specifically for the event
- An immersive story experience making full use of the gallery space
- Spatial staging and direction designed to bring both worlds to life
