Synopsis
The story begins with Ariadne Bernett, a young woman branded as the “villainess of the age” after being implicated in a poisoning murder inside the empire. She dies with her reputation in ruins. But when she opens her eyes again, she finds herself back in the same empire, 20 years later.
She has possessed the body of Ariadne Filbern, a shy and weak young duchess who happens to share her name. The painful truth is that the body’s original owner took her own life at only 12 years old after suffering in silence.
To avenge and answer the pain of the body’s original owner, Ariadne decides to continue living fully as Ariadne Filbern. The story follows two young women with the same name but completely opposite personalities as they search together for the happiness they deserve.
