A new set of character wireless earphones is on the way for fans of My Hero Academia (僕のヒーローアカデミア). Dubbed the AOW01 MARKII HEROACA, the lineup comes in three models — one each for Izuku Midoriya (Deku), Katsuki Bakugo, and Shoto Todoroki — and each model is loaded with brand-new, studio-recorded voice guidance lines from the characters’ respective voice actors.
About My Hero Academia
The original manga, written and illustrated by Kohei Horikoshi, ran in Weekly Shonen Jump for over ten years before concluding in August 2024. Set in a world where superpowers known as “Quirks” are commonplace, the story follows Deku as he strives to become a great hero and trains alongside his classmates at the prestigious U.A. High School.
The TV anime adaptation launched in April 2016. Its final season, My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON, aired its last episode — the 170th of the entire series — on December 13, 2025. With the anime’s 10th anniversary arriving in 2026, a commemorative project titled My Hero Academia The Animation 10th Anniversary has kicked off, with events being held on an ongoing basis.
About the AOW01 MARKII HEROACA
The earphones are a successor to the original AOW01, a collaborative product between ANIMA and Onkyo. Each model’s charging case features a design inspired by the respective character’s Quirk and signature moves, while the housing plates on the earbuds themselves display character motifs alongside the U.A. High School crest.
54 Voice Lines Per Model, Two Switchable Modes
The voice guidance system covers everyday earphone actions — powering on and off, pairing, tap sounds, and noise-cancelling mode activation — across 54 words per model, split into two modes that can be toggled with a tap.

Availability and Pricing
The Onkyo Akihabara store (ONKYO DIRECT ANIME STORE / 音アニ1号店) will put the earphones on display from June 26, allowing customers to test the sound quality and voice lines in person. Pre-orders open on the same date and run until August 28 at 3:00 PM JST. Each model is priced at ¥22,000 (tax and shipping included).
Companion Merchandise
Three additional items are also being released: a Voice Plate acrylic stand, an earphone pouch, and a wireless charger. All three go on sale from June 26 via the ONKYO DIRECT online store and the Akihabara physical location.
