Natsume’s Book of Friends (夏目友人帳) fans, get ready. The online merchandise store AMNIBUS has opened orders for a new limited goods lineup using special newly drawn illustrations of Takashi Natsume and friends in a “winter outfit” theme. Orders are open from now until July 8, 2026, with shipments scheduled to begin in mid-September 2026.
About Natsume’s Book of Friends
The anime is based on the manga by Yuki Midorikawa, serialized in Hakusensha’s Monthly LaLa, which has surpassed 18 million copies in circulation. The story follows Takashi Natsume, a boy who has been able to see yokai since childhood. He inherits the “Book of Friends” from his grandmother Reiko and sets out to return the names of yokai bound inside the book, accompanied by Nyanko-sensei, who claims to be his bodyguard. The TV anime first aired on TV Tokyo in 2008, and the seventh season, Natsume’s Book of Friends: Shichi (夏目友人帳 漆), aired in October 2024.

The lineup includes four product types, all using newly drawn winter-themed illustrations. Characters include Takashi Natsume, Shuichi Natori, Kaname Tanuma, Seiji Matoba, and Nyanko-sensei.
