A new line of original merchandise for the upcoming TV anime Nihon Sankoku (日本三國) has been announced, featuring scene photographs from the series. Pre-orders are now open through the online shop Chara-Log (キャラログ).
About Nihon Sankoku
Nihon Sankoku is a manga by Matsuki Ikka, serialized on Shogakukan’s comic app “Manga One” and the web comic site “Ura Sunday.” Set in a near-future Japan where civilization has collapsed in the wake of nuclear war, natural disasters, and corrupt governance, the story follows a revolution that splits the country into three rival kingdoms. Amid this era of division, a minor local bureaucrat named Sankaku Seiki rises through the ranks using his vast knowledge and sharp tongue, driven by a dream of reunifying Japan.
TV Anime Premieres April 2026
The TV anime adaptation is set to begin broadcasting in April 2026, with the following cast:
- Ono Kensho as Sankaku Seiki
- Fukuyama Jun as Asama Yoshitsune, a supremely confident martial arts expert
- Seto Asami as Higashimachi Koki, Seiki’s wife
Animation production is handled by Studio Kafka.
